Ciro Iovine

Pizza is more than a passion for Ciro Iovine; it’s a lifelong love affair that began in his early years, inspired by his pizza-maker brother. At the age of 13, a pivotal visit to a pizzeria ignited his fascination with the scents of mozzarella, flour, and tomatoes.

Growing up, Ciro realized that mastering the art of being a ‘pizzaiolo’ demanded unwavering dedication and a profound appreciation for culinary craftsmanship. This ardor ultimately led to the birth of “Song e Napule,” a restaurant paying homage to his Neapolitan heritage.

The journey from Fuorigrotta to New York was a challenging odyssey marked by trials and uncertainties. However, together with his wife, Austria, Ciro authored an incredible success story, inaugurating their initial restaurant and wholeheartedly committing to the mission of globalizing Neapolitan pizza. To date, they have established four thriving establishments across New York and New Jersey.

Their story serves as a testament to the power of unwavering commitment and love for Neapolitan culinary culture. Ciro Iovine’s narrative is an inspiring tale of resilience and accomplishment, and his ongoing dedication to popularizing Neapolitan pizza is a source of both pride and inspiration.
